Using expressive arts, movement and breathwork, I accompany clients to develop a curious and playful attitude, as they tap into their inner wisdom and body intelligence, to express emotions and uncover new possibilities for growth, transforming insight into action.

Throughout history, the use of creative expression has played a pivotal role in healing across cultures. In traditional societies, art, music, dance, and storytelling were integral to spiritual and emotional well-being. These practices were seen as sacred and transformative, often used in rituals and ceremonies to restore balance, bring about healing, and foster community connections. Modern research affirms what many cultures have long known—engaging with the arts has profound benefits for mental and physical health. Studies by The Lancet and the World Health Organization (WHO) highlight the significant role of the arts in improving health outcomes. These studies show that participation in creative activities can reduce stress, support emotional regulation, and even enhance immune function. The WHO’s 2019 report on arts and health reviewed over 900 publications, concluding that arts-based interventions contribute to both the prevention and management of mental and physical health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and chronic illness. In my work, I continue this tradition by using expressive arts to unlock self-awareness, and growth. Whether through laughter, tears, singing, shouting, or dancing, I offer a space where all forms of expression are welcomed and embraced. Movement, breath, and visual arts become powerful tools for reconnecting with your inner self and taking practical steps toward a more joyful, peaceful, and ease-filled life.

PERSON-CENTERED APPROACH

The person-centered approach, developed by Carl Rogers, is another foundation of my coaching practice. It is based on the belief that every person has the innate ability to grow, heal, and fulfill their potential. It emphasizes creating a supportive environment where clients can explore and understand their own thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Rather than directing or advising clients, I empower them to find their own solutions through self-reflection and self-discovery. This approach places the client at the center of their own healing process, promoting autonomy, self-expression, and self-empowerment. A key element of the person-centered approach is unconditional positive regard—a concept that Rogers introduced to describe a therapeutic attitude of complete acceptance and support for a person, regardless of their feelings, actions, or experiences. In my work, I offer clients a safe space free from judgment, where they can explore their true selves without fear of rejection or criticism. This acceptance fosters trust and allows clients to open up fully, enabling them to move through challenges with greater self-compassion and insight. Unconditional positive regard is central to creating a transformative coaching relationship where clients can heal, grow, and reach their fullest potential.

CULTURALLY SENSITIVE, TRAUMA-INFORMED, WITH A HUMAN RIGHTS LENS

My work is rooted in an awareness of cultural context, systemic challenges, and the impact of trauma. I offer a coaching space that acknowledges and validates each individual’s lived experiences, recognizing that healing must be approached through a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed lens. I coach in the presence of trauma, understanding how past experiences shape emotions, behaviors, and identity. While coaching can be a powerful tool for healing and self-discovery, I also recognize that some experiences require deeper psychological support. Where appropriate, I will refer clients to specialized professionals to ensure they receive the care they need to fully integrate and process any trauma they have experienced. I also approach this work with a human rights perspective, recognizing that mental health and well-being are deeply interconnected with social justice. I collaborate underserved populations, community-based and international organizations, human rights activists, and organizational leaders. Together, we cultivate emotional resilience, address the mental health needs of those facing systemic barriers, and empower individuals to lead from a place of authenticity, integrity, and self-awareness.

I offer a space where you can be fully real—where all parts of you are seen and held without judgment. True transformation happens when inner insight meets external action. That’s why I support you not only in exploring your emotions and experiences but also in taking practical, tangible steps towards taking full responsibility for the changes you want to make in your life. Cultivating body intelligence is essential in being truly present and connecting with what is happening inside us.
